The $134 million acquisition of Iris Data Services will give Epiq Systems Inc. a solid platform for growth in an area of its business where Iris was creating waves. Founded in 2007 by co-founders Chairman Kent Teague and President Major Baisden, Iris Data Services provides electronic discovery processes for corporate legal departments and law firms.
