1. A European Court of Justice (ECJ) decision declaring to be invalid the U.S.-EU Safe Harbor Program that has governed many U.S.-EU cross-border data transfers;
2. An Eastern District of Pennsylvania opinion denying, on Fifth Amendment grounds, the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) motion to compel the disclosure of defendants’ personally selected passcodes for smartphones issued by their former employer;
