Some good news to start your Monday: For the first time since the financial crisis, a majority of law firm leaders are projecting that demand for their firm’s services will increase, according to a new survey.
That data comes courtesy of Wells Fargo Private Bank’s legal specialty group, which polled 150 law firm leaders, including 65 from Am Law 100 firms.
“By and large, most law firms have kept their budget for hours flat until this year,” said Jeff Grossman, a managing and senior director at Wells Fargo Private Bank’s legal specialty group, adding, “Most firms thought the hours would be up over two percent. That’s the first year I’ve seen that since the financial crisis.”
