Does the Emperor Have Any Clothes On? Thoughts on the EDRM
Originally published in February 2008(1), the short article, Does the emperor have any clothes on? Thoughts on the EDRM, highlighted some of the challenges facing the acceptance of the EDRM XML standard in early 2008. Nine years later the EDRM has new leaders and the acceptance of the EDRM XML standard is no longer a major discussion point for eDiscovery practitioners. However, given the ongoing focus of industry professionals on certifications, standards, and acceptance of new technologies and approaches to eDiscovery, this original article may be instructive regarding some of the general areas of challenge for any new legal technology.(2) The complete article is provided below for your consideration.
